Crews respond to large fire in the South Valley
Fire crews are responding to a large fire in Albuquerque’s South Valley.
According to Bernalillo County Fire and Rescue, fire crews are battling a fire at the same recycling yard where a large fire burned on May 23.
Fire and rescue officials say multiple units are at the scene.
Officials urge residents in the area of the fire near Broadway and Rio Bravo to turn off evaporative coolers to prevent smoke from entering homes.
